Researchers in Singapore have developed a breath test to detect COVID-19 within a minute, the National University of Singapore (NUS) said on Tuesday. The test detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in a person’s breath and achieved more than 90% accuracy in a clinical trial involving 180 patients. It does not require specially trained staff or laboratory processing.
