Indian javelin thrower sets new world record

Eighteen-year-old Indian javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra set a new world record for junior athletes on Thursday when he threw the spear a distance of 81.04m at the All-India Inter-University Athletics Championships in Patiala. Chopra broke the world junior mark of 79.20m set by Slovenian Matija Muhar. Chopra's previous best was 77.67m which he set in September.
