Israel, Sudan agree to normalise ties in US-brokered deal

US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Sudan have agreed to normalise relations in a US-brokered deal. The leaders agreed to begin economic and trade relations, with an initial focus on agriculture. As part of the deal, Trump removed Sudan from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism. Earlier, the UAE and Bahrain normalised ties with Israel.
