SpaceX CEO Elon Musk at a session of the Mars Society's 2020 conference said SpaceX could send an uncrewed mission, which will use its Starship rocket, to Mars in 2024. He added that he is "80%-90% confident" that Starship rocket will reach orbit next year. He also said that Starship's initial test flights will be difficult and have failure risk.
