As per Jaguar Land Rover India, the government should stop classifying luxury cars as 'sin' goods and reduce the tax burden on them. "If you classify [luxury vehicles] as sin goods...every five-star hotel should be sin...people going there should be called sinners," MD Rohit Suri said. He added luxury vehicles' market size is small due to the high GST rate.
