India is building a domestic bullet train that will be faster than any current train on the Indian Railways network, with a top speed of over 250 kmph. The train will operate on the Vande Bharat platform, which has a 220 kmph top speed currently. The trains,created in partnership with Japan,will run on the Ahmedabad to Mumbai line.
