Mizoram CM Zoramthanga has announced that his state will send drinking water to flood-hit Assam. As per reports, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma discussed the flood situation with Zoramthanga over the phone and chalked out a plan to send drinking water to the affected areas. Sarma said he'll ask officials to make arrangements for distributing drinking water coming from Mizoram.
