At least 1,100 people have been booked under attempt to murder and the Arms Act charges a day after eight policemen sustained injuries in clashes with protesters seeking the closure of a liquor factory in Punjab's Ferozepur. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has instructed protesters to lift the dharna. "The onus is now on the protesters," Ferozepur SSP said.
