Iraq's military said a Turkish drone strike killed two Iraqi border guard officers and their driver, marking the first time that high-ranking Iraqi personnel were killed in Turkey's operation against the Kurdish militants. Reportedly, the strike took place when the officers were meeting members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Turkey regularly carries out operations against the PKK in Iraq.
