At least 22 students and two wardens died in a fire at a religious school in Kuala Lumpur today. It broke out in the bedrooms, and students couldn't escape due to window grills. There have been 211 fires at unregistered and private religious schools since 2015, with this one being considered one of Malaysia's worst fire disasters in 20 years.
