2,500 wartime Japanese chemical weapons destroyed: China

Chinese military on Tuesday said that more than 2,500 abandoned Japanese wartime chemical weapons have been destroyed in a four-year process. Reportedly, thousands of Chinese people have been killed since the end of the 1945 Sino-Japan war in accidents related to the buried weapons. Japan and China have been working together on the biggest chemical weapon cleanup effort in history.
