Five more Karnataka Congress MLAs, who had submitted their resignations, approached the Supreme Court on Saturday against Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar for not accepting the resignations. The MLAs alleged they were "being forced to support the government on the threat of disqualification". Earlier, 10 rebel Congress-JD(S) MLAs had approached the top court, which'll continue hearing the matter on July 16.
