The Madhya Pradesh government has ordered action against contractual teachers who tonsured their heads in protest. The government order said, "Take strict disciplinary action against those who violate the order and ensure that no payment is released for teachers for the period when they are on strike." Notably, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday agreed to the teachers' demands.
