Actress Mallika Rajput has resigned from the BJP saying that as a woman, she does not feel safe in the party which protects its rape-accused members. Citing Kathua and Unnao rape cases, she said the party is trying to communalise the safety of women. "If a party can incite Hindu-Muslim violence, it can use a woman for politics," she added.
