Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday to take stock of the situation in state after incidents of communal violence, said reports quoting sources. Additional forces will be sent to state following a request from Bihar government, the reports added. Violence incidents were reported in Sasaram and Bihar Sharif towns on Ram Navami.
