Apple has filed a notice of opposition against meal preparation app 'Prepear' over its cartoon pear logo claiming that it's too similar to Apple's trademarked logo. Apple claims Prepear's logo would cause a "dilution of the distinctiveness" of Apple's logo and confuse the users between the two companies. Apple is arguing that it is a violation of the Lanham Act.
