BCCI has nominated former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the country's third highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan, for his contribution to the game. The 36-year-old is the board's only nomination for the award this year. The other cricketers to have been bestowed with the honour in the past include Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid and Lala Amarnath.
