President of Darjeeling's Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, Bimal Gurung, has been suspended from the party for six months, along with the party's General Secretary, Roshan Giri, and at least seven others. Meanwhile, the party has appointed Binay Tamang as the new chief of the party and Anit Thapa has been made the new General Secretary of GJM.
