BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged a ₹3,000-crore fixing scam by Maharashtra government and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation in the land acquiring process for proposed 5,000-bed hospital in Mumbai's Mulund. "It's state government's 'understanding' with builder. The land parcel and its cost were finalised first, and then proposal for the hospital was moved, citing COVID-19 outbreak," he added.
