A Canadian judge who wore a Donald Trump campaign hat in court a day after the 2016 US presidential election has been suspended for 30 days. The council received a record number of complaints against Justice Bernd Zabel, who later apologised. It found his actions fell short of impartiality and were "a serious breach of the standards of judicial conduct."
