The Supreme Court on Wednesday observed that no one can be arrested without the adoption of a fair procedure and that even the Parliament cannot make such a law. It added that the Constitution does not allow such arrests. The court said this during the hearing over its decision to remove the provision of automatic arrest under the SC/ST act.
