India's second Moon mission, the Chandrayaan-2, whose launch has been postponed to October-November 2018, would cost a total of ₹800 crore, Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman K Sivan said on Wednesday. While the 3,290-kg satellite is worth ₹600 crore, the launch would cost ₹200 crore. The mission will feature an orbiter and a soft lander to place a rover.
