Computer password inventor Fernando Corbató passes away at 93

US-born Fernando José "Corby" Corbató, credited with inventing the computer password, passed away in Massachusetts at the age of 93. Corbató led the development of the Compatible Time-Sharing System (CTSS), regarded as one of the world's first operating systems. It allowed multiple people to use a computer at the same time.
