Delhi's Education Department has asked parents to supervise their children while interacting with mentors on its flagship 'Desh ka Mentor' programme after safety concerns were raised by child rights body NCPCR. The body asked Delhi government to suspend the programme last week over possibly exposing children to crime, said reports. Delhi govt criticised the Centre and NCPCR for seeking suspension.
