Doctors reverse brain damage in 2-yr-old with oxygen therapy

Doctors have reported a case of reversal of brain volume loss in a two-year-old girl who also suffered a cardiac arrest after drowning last year. The team performed 40 oxygen therapy sessions, where the patient was placed in a high-pressure chamber to reverse the damage to brain tissues. The girl has regained motor functions and cognitive abilities, doctors said.
