The Supreme Court has ruled that a woman can file a complaint against her ex-husband for committing cruelty under the domestic violence law even after securing a divorce. The SC refused to interfere in a Rajasthan High Court order, which held that the absence of a domestic relationship will not stop the court from providing relief to the affected woman.
