The government of Dubai has announced to host a robot Olympics in December 2017. Officially dubbed ‘World Future Sports Games’, the three-day event aims at building sports leagues for robots and will be held every two years. The first-of-its-kind initiative will feature nine competitions including driverless car racing, robotic soccer, robotic swimming, robotic table tennis and robotic wrestling.
