Automaker Tesla has disclosed its billionaire CEO Elon Musk paid at least $593 million (₹3,800 crore) in income tax last year. The payment included taxes on the $1.34 billion (₹8,600 crore) that Musk gained from stock options which were set to expire at the end of 2016. He paid the tax by selling some shares he got from the options.
