Female arctic fox found to have travelled 3,500 km in 76 days

Norwegian scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute have found one young arctic female fox to have travelled from Norway to Canada in 76 days covering approximately 3,500 km. The scientists at the institute had fitted around 50 coastal or blue foxes with tracking collars. The fox was found to have travelled an average of about 45 km per day.
