The CBI has launched an investigation into the private company over allegations that it has been lying to the government about the number of people it employs to maintain India's longest rail tunnel. The company which maintains the tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Pir Panjal range has allegedly deployed only 35 employees despite a contractual obligation to employ 87 workers.
