Google has updated its Lookout app, which assists visually impaired people, and added two new modes to it- Food Label and Scan Document. Food Label will help people quickly identify packaged foods by pointing their phone's camera at the label. The Scan Document mode will capture a snapshot of a document to be read aloud by a screen reader.
