Kaprada BJP leader Babubhai Vardha has quit the party and rejoined the Gujarat Congress after 16 years. Vardha had reportedly left the Congress in 2004 over differences with a party leader, who later quit Congress and joined BJP this year. Congress leader Gaurav Pandya said, "With Vardha's return, we hope the search for a candidate against BJP will be over."
