All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Gurudas Kamat on Wednesday resigned from all posts in the party. "I had met Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi last week and discussed to be relieved from all responsibilities," he said. Earlier in the day, Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was appointed as party’s General Secretary in Gujarat, a position held by Kamat till now.
