Under President Donald Trump's administration, US immigration authorities issued 85,000 challenges seeking evidence to H-1B visa petitions since January till August this year. This is 45% more than the challenges issued over the same period last year. The challenges were reportedly issued at a greater rate in 2017 than at any time in the Obama administration except for 2009.
