Haryana has recorded its highest sex ratio at birth with 914 girls per 1,000 boys in 2017, according to government officials. Of the 5.09 lakh children born last year in the state, 2.6 lakh were boys and 2.4 lakh were girls. Haryana had recorded the worst sex ratio at birth in the 2011 Census with 834 girls per 1,000 boys.
