The Competition Commission of India has imposed ₹87 crore penalty on Hyundai Motor India for unfair business practices with respect to providing discounts for cars. The CCI found Hyundai guilty of imposing arrangements upon its dealers, which are in violation of provisions under the Competition Act. The company has been directed to cease and desist from such anti-competitive practices.
