India has been placed at a rank of 103 out of 130, the lowest among BRICS economies, on the World Economic Forum's Global Human Capital Index 2017. It is also the lowest among G20 nations. India also ranks among the lowest in the world when it comes to employment gender gap. Notably, the index has been topped by Norway.
