Jaguar Land Rover and the University of Cambridge have developed a contactless touchscreen technology to help combat viruses and bacteria. The patented technology, 'predictive touch', uses artificial intelligence and sensors to predict a user's intended target on the touchscreen. Lab tests and on-road trials showed it could "reduce a driver's touchscreen interaction effort and time by up to 50%".
