Karnataka's richest Congress nominee is worth ₹700 crore

Congress' richest nominee for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections DK Shivakumar has declared his assets worth over ₹700 crore. The leader has declared cash and bank deposits worth ₹95 crore, immovable assets valued at over ₹635.8 crore, among others. Shivakumar, who is currently serving as the state's Energy Minister, had declared assets worth ₹251 crore ahead of 2013 Assembly Elections.
