The Bengaluru Police has issued an order banning the sale, distribution and consumption of liquor in the city on May 10-12 and May 15 ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections. The order aims to maintain law and order situation and ensure smooth conduct of polling process. This was also done to prevent alcohol's misuse to influence voters, reports said.
