With the announcement of hike in customs duty in Union Budget 2018-19, luxury car prices will witness a rise of ₹1.25 lakh to ₹5 lakh. The prices of imported luxury buses will also rise by ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. Custom duty on CKD (completely knocked down) imports of motor vehicles, motor cars, motor cycles was increased by 5%.
