A guest at a Canadian bar allegedly stole a mummified human toe from its 40-year-old signature sourtoe cocktail, following which the police were informed and the bar offered a reward for information. The "whiskey and blackened toe" tradition traces its roots to the 1920s when a rum runner preserved his amputated toe in alcohol.
