The Maratha community on Sunday held a silent protest march under the 'Maratha Kranti Muk Morcha' in Pune, reports said. They reportedly demanded punishment to culprits of the rape and murder of a Maratha girl in Ahmednagar's Kopardi village. The community submitted a memorandum to the District Collector, which included demands for Maratha reservation in educational institutes and government jobs.
