PM Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe jointly laid the foundation stone of India's first Bullet Train project at Ahmedabad today. Running at a top speed of 350 kilometres per hour, it will reduce the Ahmedabad-Mumbai travel time from 7-8 hours to around 2 hours. The 508-km-long rail project is expected to complete by August 15, 2022.
