A 55-year-old Ethiopian national with symptoms similar to those of monkeypox has been quarantined at a private hospital in Bengaluru, authorities informed. His samples have been sent for testing to the National Institute of Virology in Pune, the health department said. As per authorities, he recently developed rashes, weeks after getting admitted to the hospital due to multiple health reasons.
