Most blue whales are 'right-handed', study finds

A US-based study on 63 blue whales has observed the aquatic mammals mostly show a right-side bias. This happens as the right eye is linked to brain's left hemisphere which controls coordination and motor control. However, researchers noted the whale turn left-oriented while performing 360-degree barrel rolls to track the prey on the ocean surface with their right eye.
