Most habitable planets may be totally water-covered: Study

Spain-based researcher Fergus Simpson has suggested that most planets with any significant amount of water are likely to be completely submerged in it. Simpson's study was based on computer simulations accounting for numerous factors in a planet, like deep water cycle and erosion. Results showed that most planets had above-water landmass of less than 10%, compared to Earth's 29%.
