The Madhya Pradesh government has announced a ₹50 lakh cash award for the Indian women's cricket team, which finished as runners-up after losing to England in the Women's Cricket World Cup final on Sunday. The state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that the award will be given to the team at a grand felicitation ceremony in Bhopal.
