Mumbai on Monday reported 1,857 new COVID-19 cases as compared to 2,550 cases recorded on Sunday. The city also registered 11 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, while the number of active cases stood at 21,142. As per official data, 84% of the fresh cases were asymptomatic and 234 people were hospitalised.
