Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said, "Over 2 lakh e-vehicles are used in India currently. E-vehicles are becoming popular...I myself use an e-vehicle." He added, "Pollution problem can't be solved in a day. (We) need continuous effort to tackle each contributing factor." He also said, "Wherever possible we should try to cycle or walk or use public transport."
